On November 22, 2022, at Teatro da Trindade, the TODOS festival was awarded the INATEL 2022 Merit Award, in the area of multiculturalism, which joins the Honorable Mention awarded by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2010.
Miguel Abreu, founder and director of the festival since 2008, went on stage to receive the award and dedicate it to the entire team of professionals who program and produce this project. As well as to all the people that, in each Lisbon neighbourhood where the festival has been, open the doors of their homes, share memories, interact, collaborate, and participate in this event, held by the Academia de Produtores Culturais in partnership with the Lisbon City Hall.
Thanks were also addressed to the Lisbon City Hall and its collaborators who, since 2009, have made this event financially and logistically feasible. TODOS’s main mission is to promote among the people of Lisbon the intercultural discourse and conviviality, fundamental for the development of more inclusive and fairer interpersonal relationships.
